Authentic Allyship Workshop for ADR Practitioners

This workshop is thoughtfully designed to be an interactive and practical application of the book Reflections on Allyship, led by the book’s authors. Participants will explore authentic allyship efforts of non-Indigenous people with the Indigenous community in an ADR context and beyond. Attendees will explore the meaning of allyship and why it matters to Ontario’s dispute resolution practitioners. Common missteps and the problem with performative gestures will be unpacked, along with the role each of us has in accomplishing positive change through collaboration and overcoming systemic bias.

Registration comes with a copy of the book, Reflections on Allyship, mailed directly to your home.
