Staff Announcement – introducing ADRIO’s new Member Experience Specialist

November 30, 2020

Dear Member,

It is with great pleasure that I am introducing to you Rachael Whitzman, ADRIO’s new full-time Member Experience Specialist.

Rachael joins the ADRIO staff team today, and the key responsibilities in her role include member services and support, database administration support, administration of applications for designations and administration of rosters.

As a graduate of the ADR Program at Humber College, Rachael previously practised as a Mediator with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. While at Humber, Rachael was a Student Member of ADRIO, and her article on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) – Rapport Building in Mediation was published in the 2017 Fall edition of ADR Update. To pursue her passion for dispute resolution, Rachael had attended many JADE sessions in order to meet and connect other ADR enthusiasts.

Rachael brings to ADRIO diverse experiences in member and customer services and support, gained as a general manager of a gym, and as a senior office manager and national event coordinator of a technology company. Outside of work, Rachael loves staying active, exercising and lifting weights. She also enjoys watching TV and YouTube videos, and completing the toughest jigsaw puzzles. A fun fact about Rachael, as a teenager, she had an acting career and had appeared in a variety of Canadian TV shows and movies.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Rachael. As with the rest of the ADRIO staff team, Rachael will primarily be working remotely, and can be reached by email at membership@adr-ontario.ca.

Best,

Judy Shum
